Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to work as a skilled Quantity Surveyor/Estimator in Queensland.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality tender and quotation documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of tender and quotation documentation
  • Use of estimating software to produce client quotations
  • Assessment and preparation of precise estimates and quotations
  • Research and development of best practices in estimating and contract administration
  • Collaboration with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to enhance service delivery and achieve cost efficiencies

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator role, preferably within the building/construction industry
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate cost estimates and quotations
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
