Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Facilitation Specialist to join our team at Think Education. This is a casual position based in Adelaide, with opportunities to work with students at various placement sites across the city.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' broad clinical experience in nursing and a detailed understanding of relevant professional and accreditation requirements. They will also hold a current Division 1 Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA and possess advanced clinical nursing knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of student clinical practice and delivery of education and assessment opportunities to ensure clinical placement requirements are met
  • Clear communication of expectations to students while on clinical placement
  • Maintenance of positive relationships with healthcare agencies to enhance the learning experience
  • Liaison with health facility/staff to provide opportunities for students to meet relevant clinical learning objectives
  • Assistance to students in developing communication, problem-solving, clinical, and professional skills
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' broad clinical experience in nursing
  • Detailed understanding of relevant professional and accreditation requirements
  • Current Division 1 Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
  • Advanced clinical nursing knowledge and skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and apply key conflict resolution skills in the student environment
  • High level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
