This role provides an opportunity to support migrants in their transition to Australian society, working collaboratively with the MSP team to deliver essential services and programs.

Job Description

As a Casework Support Volunteer, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with practical and administrative tasks, including preparing resources, data entry, and supporting employment workshops. You will work closely with caseworkers and clients to help achieve self-identified goals while maintaining confidentiality and safe practice.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and understanding of migration and social justice issues, working alongside a dedicated team within the humanitarian sector.

The role is designed to foster a supportive environment, promoting the well-being and dignity of clients navigating complex circumstances.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with comfort working with diverse backgrounds and populations.
  • Lived experience of migration, multilingual abilities, or interest in social justice is highly valued.
