Operational Excellence Manager

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team and contribute to operational excellence while fostering a positive work environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills to oversee staff and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all business operations within the practice, including human resources, IT, WH&S, insurance, financial management, and reporting.
- Prepare and maintain staff and dermatologist rosters to meet practice needs.
- Oversee office systems and processes, including filing systems, office equipment, and office policies and procedures.
- Monitor office supplies inventory, place orders, and oversee approval processes for payments related to supply purchases.
- Coordinate the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and termination.
- Oversee payroll preparation and processing, ensuring compliance with wage laws, award interpretation, superannuation contributions, and tax obligations.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including timesheets, leave balances, and pay rates. Liaise with external accounting firms.
- Support budget planning and monitor payroll-related expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals. Assist in audits and payroll reporting.
- Implement and update practice billing to ensure MBS items are set up and charged correctly.
- Organize meetings and prepare reports as needed.
- Cover reception duties when required.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, experience with medical software, understanding of MYOB/Xero, knowledge of billing regulations, and effective communication skills. The successful applicant will possess a collaborative and flexible style, with a solid commitment to leadership, teamwork, and patient care.
