Field Education Academic Leader

The Academic Lead is responsible for overseeing Field Education placements in Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work(Q) programs.
This role involves ensuring quality placements in accordance with Australian Social Work Education and Accreditation Standards (ASWEAS) set out by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
A key aspect of this position is designing, implementing and reviewing field education units to ensure they meet the needs of students and agencies.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in social work practice and a deep understanding of human behaviour.
We are seeking an individual who can support field education staff and develop relationships with agencies to enhance student placement experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing field education units;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with agencies;
- Overseeing student placements and agency performance;
- SUPPORTING FIELD EDUCATION STAFF TO ADDRESS STUDENT PLACEMENT ISSUES.
