Key Responsibilities:
- Work with NDIS clients with complex communication needs in homes, schools, or community settings
- Provide assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for swallowing disorders and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of OTs, speech pathologists, and positive behaviour support practitioners
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology or recognised equivalent degree
- Certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia
- Employee Working with Children Check/NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current driving licence and registered car
