Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with NDIS clients with complex communication needs in homes, schools, or community settings
  • Provide assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for swallowing disorders and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of OTs, speech pathologists, and positive behaviour support practitioners
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or recognised equivalent degree
  • Certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Employee Working with Children Check/NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current driving licence and registered car
