Join our team of dedicated professionals as we seek a skilled Registered Midwife to play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care within our esteemed Midwifery Group Practice.

About the Role :

We are committed to providing progressive and innovative care for women, encouraging our midwives to practice within their scope, seek endorsement and credentialing, pursue leadership roles, specialise in women's health, and engage in ongoing professional development.

About You :

  • A Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience is preferred.
  • Experience or interest in Midwifery Group Practice or continuity care models.
  • Competence in relevant nursing practice standards.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to supervise assistants, student midwives, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.

Working Conditions :

Our Midwifery Group Practice follows an all-risk model, providing midwifery care in hospitals with level 3 capabilities. Midwives work closely with GP Obstetricians and Obstetric Specialists, following Australian Midwifery Council guidelines.
