We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team at our Dandenong Head Office. As a key member of our Network Planning Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business systems.

The estimated salary for this position is around $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. You will be responsible for providing direct support to internal and external stakeholders regarding our business systems, including:

  • Maintaining accurate operational information in our software systems.
  • Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders for system integrity and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Working with schools to maintain database information.
  • Working within a team to develop and implement initiatives as required.
  • Providing system familiarisation training to frontline employees as required.
  • Being a bridge for technical support tickets from frontline employees to software suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to confidently liaise with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Public Transport industry experience is highly regarded.
  • Helpdesk and/or ITS experience is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work comfortably with software programs and technology systems – exposure to systems such as TIMS and BusMinder are highly advantageous but not necessary.
  • A lateral thinker with excellent time management skills.
