Domestic Support Role

This role involves working in a large private residence in the Eastern Suburbs, undertaking housekeeping, laundry, light cooking, and service duties.

The successful candidate will maintain a professional appearance, with a friendly and happy demeanor, whilst being discreet within the household.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, ironing, washing, light cooking, dusting, and polishing.
  • Light cooking duties on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Ensuring all areas are cared for and inspected with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Reporting damages or areas requiring special attention.
  • Monitoring stock levels and communicating replenishing needs as required.
  • Adhering to commonly accepted health and safety practices for a private residence.
  • Operating to the standard of a 5-star hotel.
  • Being confident in carrying out service for daily meals, dinner parties, and functions.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong experience working in private residences, yachts, or jets.
  • Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, cooking, and service duties.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with high attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks with ease.
  • Open-mindedness to a change of process, accommodating the household's needs.
  • Comfortable with domestic animals and able to work with high integrity, discretion, and honesty.
  • Professionalism at all times.
