About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Transformation Project Lead to join our team in the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Branch (MHAODB) of the Department of Health. As a key member of our Digital Transformation Team, you will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of digital healthcare initiatives outlined in the Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple multidisciplinary project teams to ensure the successful delivery of digital healthcare initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective project management methodologies to ensure high-quality, safe services and workplaces.
  • Collaborate with stream leads, senior program managers, directors, and senior directors to ensure proper documentation and adherence to defined service quality standards.
  • Mentor and coach project officers and program staff in program management areas to ensure the quality support of the delivery program.
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills with a record of accomplishment of supporting successful project outcomes.
  • Effective negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and communication skills to manage complex projects and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing conflicting priorities, tracking agreed budgets, and project plans.
  • Ability to develop strategies, frameworks, and plans to enable informed decision making on project issues.
