Role Overview

Sales Engagement Specialist

This position involves supporting new business opportunities, fostering key client relationships, ensuring successful engagement delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional global teams.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong business acumen, basic understanding of technology products and services, and a proactive attitude to drive outcomes.

  • Support and pursue new leads and commercial opportunities aligned with the regional strategy.
  • Develop tailored pitches, proposals, and value propositions for prospective clients in line with the account strategy.
  • Support the end-to-end engagement lifecycle including qualification, proposal creation, client engagement, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing and pre-sales teams on regional strategies.
  • Engage relevant internal teams and service lines to develop solutions.
  • Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, including client CXOs.
  • Build long-term relationships, ensure satisfaction, and uncover expansion opportunities.
  • Understand client business needs and translate them into actionable solutions aligned to the company's strategy.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure client commitments are met.
  • Track and manage project milestones, resource allocations, and client communications.
  • Proactively address risks and issues in delivery and escalate as needed.
  • Partner with Service Lines, SMEs, Delivery, Pricing, Legal, and other cross-functional teams across geographies.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of data, tech, and AI offerings relevant to regional requirements.
  • Stay updated on regional market dynamics and competitor strategies.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in client management, consulting, or delivery roles in a technology or services firm.
  • Experience in managing executive relationships and closing medium-to-large-sized deals. Preferred in FMCG/Retail/Hitech industries.
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles, solution selling, commercial models, and account growth.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations, with strong storytelling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Experience in working with cross-cultural and remote teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or master's degree in business or Strategy.
  • Exposure to digital transformation and technology platforms/innovation.
  • Prior experience in a consulting firm or digital services provider.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and project management tools. Awareness of emerging technologies and digital business models.
