Compliance and Business Services Specialist

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and systems, and to apply them effectively in the workplace.
This role involves coordinating a range of administrative tasks and providing specialist advice related to legislative, regulatory, and quality assurance requirements. These tasks include managing international student release requests, discontinuation of enrolment, and monitoring student visa compliance.
This incumbent will also support the planning and coordination of the University's participation in foreign and financial aid programs, as well as international finance obligations.
Key Responsibilities- To be considered for this position, you will have;
- A degree with subsequent relevant experience to consolidate theories and principles learned, or extensive experience leading to specialist expertise or broad knowledge in an administrative field.
- Demonstrated ability to gain a conceptual understanding of relevant policies, procedures, or systems and interpret their application.
- Ability to set priorities and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility.
- Capacity to organise work effectively and efficiently and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
- Ability to innovate and take responsibility for outcomes.
- High level proficiency in computer software packages including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, and the use of the internet as a research tool.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated customer service focus and solution orientated approach.
This position offers a competitive salary, including 17% Superannuation, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within the University.
The estimated salary for this position is AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
