We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to lead our Compliance function for AusNet's Transmission line of business.



About the Role

As Compliance Manager - Transmission, you will be a trusted business partner to the Transmission Leadership Team and the Transmission team more broadly, supporting them in managing and monitoring their compliance obligations and delivering strong compliance performance.



Key Responsibilities


  • Be a key point of contact and represent AusNet in managing the ongoing compliance relationship with regulators, including responding to inquiries, queries, and information requests.
  • Prepare papers for and present to internal governance and leadership forums on compliance performance and issues.
  • Oversee accurate, clear, and concise compliance advice by the Transmission Compliance team, working with the Legal and Regulation teams, as appropriate.
  • Support the Transmission Leadership Team and the broader Transmission team in the implementation and monitoring of compliance obligations, including providing training and guidance materials.
  • Report to regulators in accordance with their reporting processes and timing requirements, including timely breach reporting.
  • Keep abreast of trends and developments in compliance, identifying and communicating issues and risks in a timely manner.
  • Support compliance with transmission ring-fencing obligations.
