About the Job

As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of community care within our dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.

  • You will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patients within community and residential care settings.
  • In this role, you will also serve as a clinical reference point for the team, offering expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and service development, driving innovation and excellence within the field.
  • Supervise, educate, and mentor less experienced clinicians, students, and allied health assistants, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Expertise in delivering complex speech pathology services with a strong evidence-based approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective relationships across disciplines, patients, and carers.
  • Able to prioritise and manage complex caseloads in dynamic clinical environments, ensuring timely and high-quality care.
  • Leadership capability, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff and contributing to service improvement.
