The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for Collision & Automotive Consumables Sales Representative to join the team at Smeaton Grange.
Role Responsibilities
- Sell the range of ACM Consumables products to NEW, Current and Non Active ACM accounts in your identified region
- Rapidly develop and foster positive, valued relationships with new and existing Consumables customers.
- Support customers with their consumables needs by providing product summaries and stock checking processes to ensure they constantly maintain their required stock level in shop.
- Implement a territory and frequency plan to maximise the opportunity to convert product sales
- Maintain customer portfolio efficiently
- Ensure the ACM consumables van is clean, stocked, fully maintained and presentable always.
- Assist Managers in other areas of responsibilities where needed with special projects
- Provide support to the Finance, Operations, Marketing and Sales Teams as require
- Identify potential growth within existing customers with a focus on effectively building ACM's portfolios in line with changing needs and technology.
- Develop newly identified customers through the Capricorn lead generation program.
- Use the existing customer portfolio efficiently to grow market share in line with agreed outcomes.
- Conduct research to identify causes for low conversion rates by existing Collision/Mechanical customers.
- Gather competitive data to support ACM continually develop the most competitive position
- Provide suggestions and ideas on how to increase conversion rates across the Collision/Mechanical portfolio.
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
- Support and assist with analysing data or insights to determine consumer trends regarding the product and category
- Managing the product mix and inventory stocked within the Consumables Van ready for sale daily supported by Sales Support
- Managing orders, transactions and inventory movements from warehouse to the consumables van
- Proactively supporting the testing and validation of new products
- Providing data to the Consumables Category Manager to support inventory levels to meet demand, including supporting forecasting for individual SKU's in your state
- Handle escalated issues and concerns, working to find timely and effective resolutions for customers.
- Responsible for your own safety and the safety of others
- Assist to make sure all operations and tasks are completed within Standard Operating Procedure

- Ability to analyse and develop accurate conclusions to support category decisions based on key data
- An understanding of the market and consumer insights and trends
- Experience in building business relationships / customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to professionally represent the organisation
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of automotive repair business and practices an advantage
- Good proficiency in MS Office suite of tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
