About Ignite:

Ignite is seeking a skilled Digital Content Manager to join their team in North Sydney. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing social media and content marketing campaigns, as well as creating engaging communication articles and e-newsletters.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $90,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and evaluating the delivery of social media and communication activities in AOD prevention, health promotion, treatment, education, special projects, and harm minimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Your Room website and social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter.
  • Create engaging communication articles, e-newsletters, and activity proposals to promote audience interaction, increase online presence, and drive traffic to the Your Room website.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and implement paid social media campaigns (PPC).
  • Monitor and grow social media networks, as well as analyze audience data and project success using tools like Google Analytics and Data Studio.
  • Coordinate communication activities with key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health marketing and social media teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in a Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing role with a specific focus on social media and content marketing.
  • Ability to write, research, proofread, and edit for media, publications, websites, and social media.
  • Proven ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively as part of a busy team.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
