Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Editor to lead the development of our digital content strategy, driving growth and engagement across all digital platforms.

This is a key leadership role within our team, working closely with cross-functional partners to develop and execute commercial content opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand values.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in digital media, with expertise in content management systems, photo editing, and analytic tools. They will be able to ideate and execute content strategies that meet audience and revenue targets, leveraging data and insights to inform their approach.

In addition to their technical skills, they will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience in leading and managing teams. A deep understanding of SEO principles and commercial drivers for websites and digital sales processes is also essential.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy, balancing short-term and long-term goals
  • Create and edit high-quality content across all digital platforms, meeting audience and revenue targets
  • Leverage SEO insights and tools to optimise existing content and convert to shoppable content where possible
  • Work closely with commercial leads to identify and execute commercial content opportunities
  • Analyse and report on performance across all channels, adjusting approach as required
  • Lead and manage a team of editors and content producers, providing regular feedback and coaching

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years' experience in digital media, preferably in women's lifestyle
  • Experience with content management systems, photo editing, and analytic tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in content management and the development of content strategies
  • Strong content ideation skills
  • Strong understanding of SEO content
  • Basic understanding of commercial drivers for websites and digital sales processes
  • Experience as a team leader or people manager

Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
