Job Title: Lead Insurance Professional

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our team as a Senior Casualty Underwriter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building strong relationships with brokers and driving business growth through new business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to generate new business through marketing visits, presentations, and industry networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Assess and underwrite new General Liability submissions in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums while ensuring compliance with underwriting standards.
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in liability underwriting, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with a focus on broker engagement.
  • Commercially minded with a track record in new business development.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and decision-making abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of industry regulations and underwriting practices.
