Immersive Training Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Technical Simulation Officer. In this administrative role, you will play a crucial part in creating immersive training environments that prepare students for real-world clinical practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong problem-solving skills who thrive in fast-paced settings. No prior experience in clinical or simulation training is required - full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate clinical simulations and set up equipment for practical learning experiences.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation of lab equipment.
  • Maintain high-quality learning environments through diligent attention to detail.
  • Oversight of logistics and planning for simulation-based training sessions.

About the Role:

This non-teaching position supports academic staff by coordinating clinical simulations, setting up and maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and operating to industry standards.

You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and overseeing the logistics of simulation-based training.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with students and clients.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and complete work autonomously.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and relevant software applications.
  • Experience or ability to quickly learn preparation of simulated solutions and operation of clinical equipment following relevant standards and legislation.
