Job Summary:

Coordinating Events with Excellence

This pivotal role requires an exceptional event coordinator to plan, coordinate and execute key organisational events, conferences, and workshops. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of coordinating large-scale events, excellent time management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement successful event concepts to ensure seamless execution
  • Logistics Management: Manage event budgets, source venues, and suppliers to meet client requirements
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for enquiries relating to key organisational events

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating large-scale events (200+ participants)
  • Strong time management skills and ability to plan, organise, and coordinate workload
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills for effective client and stakeholder interactions
  • Highly developed written communication skills for report writing and information management
  • Able to multi-task, maintain composure under pressure, and meet strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated cultural safety principles and ability to communicate sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
Requirements:
  • Unrestricted 'C' Class Driver's Licence
  • National Police Clearance dated within 3 months
  • Likely entitled to work in Australia, providing evidence of entitlement (e.g., Australian passport or birth certificate)
