Job Overview

The Events Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of events, overseeing logistical coordination and preparation across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating logistics services, including resourcing, stock control, and warehouse management.
  • Leading and developing an events team, focusing on satisfactory training and timely on-site installation.
  • Managing event crew scheduling for event installation and dismantlement.
  • Supervising on-site operations to guarantee efficient event delivery.
  • Reviewing and approving staff timesheets daily, with subsequent submission to accounts for payroll processing.
  • Ensuring all areas are properly set up, including signage, equipment, infrastructure, and staff allocation.
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound stock shipments, including receiving and distributing stock.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Effective communication with clients to manage expectations and resolve queries.
  • Participating in post-event debriefs to address client feedback and implement improvements.
  • Maintaining compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards across all operations.
Requirements

Candidates should have experience working within the events industry in a logistics capacity, preferably with background knowledge in warehouse management and crew supervision.

  • Excellent logistical and event management expertise.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Composure under pressure, coupled with problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • A hands-on approach to actively participating in event execution and logistics.
  • Flexibility to travel to various locations.
  • Ability to work from the office 5 days a week.
