
Senior Shutdown Coordinator

Mechanical supervisors play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective execution of shutdowns and maintenance tasks.
- Lead teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables
- Coordinate trade and non-trade personnel to achieve key objectives
- Collaborate with clients and site-based staff to resolve issues and meet project goals
- Plan and schedule work, labour requirements, and monitor progress against the work schedule
- Assess and monitor team member performance, provide guidance and address issues as necessary
- Investigate and report incidents
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and company health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in leadership roles within shutdown operations
- Relevant trade certification - boilermaker or fitter
- Section 44 or Schedule 26 training
- Inductions for major mining sites advantageous
- A strong commitment to occupational health and safety
- Effective communication skills across all business facets
- A current Australian driver's licence
- Construction white card
- National police check
Key Responsibilities
