Chief Accounts Payable Officer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounts payable professional to lead and mentor a small team of accounts payable officers in a collaborative and supportive work environment.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing end-to-end accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Managing the accounts payable function to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments.
- Leading and mentoring a small team of accounts payable officers to achieve business objectives.
- Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies.
- Overseeing the implementation and adherence to accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Preparing monthly accounts payable reports and assisting with financial forecasting.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and accounting standards.
Required skills and qualifications include:
Proven experience in managing accounts payable functions, strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
