
Public Sector Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Administration Support Officer to join our team. This role will provide unique exposure to the Government sector, supporting the Director of the Office of Autism and working closely with the Principal Policy and Project Officer.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills who is looking to build experience in the public sector. You'll contribute to inclusive initiatives, support the smooth operation of a purpose-driven office, and build relationships with stakeholders across government.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Manage office correspondence by reviewing, drafting, and triaging items to ensure timely, professional, and appropriate responses.
- Maintain the Director's diary, prioritising appointments and supporting efficient scheduling and communication flow.
- Provide general administrative support, including records management, invoice processing, and event support.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including across government and community sectors.
- Contribute to process improvements by reviewing and updating administrative procedures.
- Support project delivery by completing assigned tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate professionalism, coupled with a proactive and dynamic approach. A strong background in administration in a professional environment is essential. This opportunity is particularly well-suited for a recent graduate eager to launch their career in the Public Sector.
