UX Design Lead for Business Banking Products

We are seeking a talented UX Design Lead to join our Digital Experience team in delivering customer-centric experiences across our business banking products.

About the Role

This role will see you leading the design of complex, transactional interfaces across multiple devices and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Estimated salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per annum

As a UX Design Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing several projects autonomously and working closely with experience designers and UI designers to create cohesive UX strategies
  • Assisting the Experience Design Lead in scoping, planning, and estimating projects
  • Using data and exploratory research to understand customer and business drivers behind products and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Managing stakeholders including Product Owners, Dev/Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance representatives

You will work closely with delivery teams to ensure design assets and specifications fit their requirements, including Product Owners and Dev/Engineering teams. A strong problem-solving, conceptual, and design skillset is essential for driving solutions at all levels of detail across responsive web platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of complex, transactional interfaces across multiple devices

  • Work closely with experience designers and UI designers to create cohesive UX strategies

  • Expert knowledge of customer-centred design balanced with commercial acumen
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated success presenting design in a clear and persuasive manner
  • Confident cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong problem-solving, conceptual, and design skills to drive solutions at all levels of detail across responsive web platforms
