Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front office support group, you will be responsible for providing daily cash and position clearance, cash management, and reconciliation services to our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and accurate cash and position clearance to our front office teams
  • Cash management and settlement of daily cashflows
  • Investigating and resolving cash, asset, and bank overdraft discrepancies
  • Calculating and reviewing unit prices for domestic and global fixed income funds
  • Assisting in the setup and maintenance of static data for unlisted securities
  • Liaising with front office teams for bespoke deals, new account setups, and ad-hoc queries
  • Liaising with internal and external teams to resolve cash and trade-related issues
  • Managing group inboxes and responding to client queries within required timeframes
  • Ensuring month-end clearance objectives are met within set deadlines

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in accounting or finance
  • Proven work experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Middle Office functionality and Back and Middle Office teams in the financial industry
  • Familiarity with fixed interest, equity, OTC, FX products
