Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Small Business Lending Specialist to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing lending and product requests for small business customers.
About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves having personal and meaningful conversations with small business customers and referral partners to provide an integrated customer experience.

The role also requires working together as a team to perform credit analysis and approve requests for temporary excesses/increased limits up to delegated commitment authority (DCA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing lending and product requests for small business customers
  • Owning retention related activities to build strong relationships with customers
  • Evaluating economic value and risk potential of new business opportunities
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in sales or account management, preferably in a financial services environment
  • Delegated lending authority with the ability to hit the ground running on day one
  • A tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline
