
Small Business Commercial Lending Expert

As a commercial lending specialist, you will play a vital role in helping small businesses succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with customers to understand their business and personal needs.
- Originate solutions for businesses including commercial lending up to $1M, asset finance, merchant facilities, and everyday banking services.
- Proactively engage customers to support their business and personal goals, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Represent the bank within the local business community, promoting its business banking proposition.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to build referral partnerships and address service issues.
- Proven experience in commercial lending or B2B sales.
- Experience in home lending and financial analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement/management skills.
- Excellent customer engagement skills (face-to-face and non-face-to-face).
- Passion for supporting small businesses or experience managing one.
- FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation.
- Credit Approval Authority Level 2 or willingness to obtain within six months.
- Formal training in home lending discussions (Cert IV in Banking Services qualification preferred).
