Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a Technical Services Engineer, you will be responsible for advising customers and solving complex MongoDB problems. You will work closely with our customers to understand their technical needs and provide expert guidance on MongoDB solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on MongoDB solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions
  • Conduct technical training and workshops to educate customers on MongoDB best practices
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Participate in technical escalations and provide expert-level support to customers
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in technical support or engineering
  • Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
  • Broad awareness of customer workloads and use cases
  • Systems engineering experience, including Linux performance, memory management, and I/O tuning
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Experience supporting complex mission-critical product applications and database systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with authentication systems such as LDAP, Kerberos, and AD
  • Experience using or managing MongoDB
  • Experience using distributed version control systems, and in particular git
  • Experience using any cloud services stack such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration systems using vendor-specific Enterprise operators
