Deputy Head Of Department Dietitian Role

This is a Temporary Part Time position within the Coastal Network - Bega and Moruya areas.

The Southern NSW Local Health District covers a large area of the southern half of NSW, spanning from the pristine beaches of the NSW South Coast to the Victorian border.

We provide healthcare services to over 200,000 people across our 18 facilities.

About The Position:
  • Lead high-quality service delivery in dietetics for patients/clients of the SNSW Local Health District.
Key Selection Criteria:
  • A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA).
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Extensive knowledge, clinical proficiency and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective prioritization and organization of dietetics caseloads across a small regional team.
  • Commitment to quality improvement and leading evidence-based practice implementation.
  • Participation in clinical research and knowledge of the research process.
  • High-level problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Current unrestricted driver's license and willingness to drive/travel as required.
