Job Description

The role of a BAS (Building Automation Systems) Technician involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and guidance to HVAC crews ensure high-quality work execution within established parameters.
  • Oversee the execution of HVAC mechanical services including installation, service, and repair of environmental-control systems in various commercial establishments.
  • Application of refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and structural layout enhances service quality and efficiency.
  • Evaluation of service execution for compliance with contracts, design data, schedules, cost budgets, and quality standards.
  • Effective communication with project teams and stakeholders facilitates smooth operations and addresses issues promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of BAS Technician experience managing similar projects.
  • OEM certification in BAS systems or similar certification.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of information and telecommunication management professionals.
  • Ability to maximize technical, performance, and operational efficiencies and minimize lifecycle costs.
  • Clearance: Active US Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
