BAS Technician Role Summary

This position requires a skilled Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician with expertise in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to HVAC crews by guiding the team and ensuring the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute services.
  • Oversee the execution of HVAC mechanical services, ensuring that all work is performed with high quality and within cost constraints.
  • Manage and direct the activities of HVAC mechanics who install, service, and repair environmental-control systems in various commercial establishments.
  • Apply knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and structural layout to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Assess HVAC service execution for compliance with contracts, design data, schedules, cost budgets, and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience as a BAS Technician managing similar projects.
  • Must possess an OEM certification in BAS systems.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of information and telecommunication management professionals.
