Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HSE professional to join our team as a Health and Safety Coordinator. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and visitors.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in managing HSE programs, policies, and procedures. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.


Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Management: Collaborate with the HSE team to develop and implement effective safety management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Auditing: Perform internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees are equipped to manage risks and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all HSE-related documentation is up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
