Job Title: Graduate Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our infrastructure team. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of activities, including asset management, forward planning, design, and project management of civil infrastructure projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, designing, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, stormwater, and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of project documentation, including project planning investigations, reports, cost estimates, and risk/needs assessments.
  • Contribute to asset planning through data analysis, mapping, and digitisation using GIS and engineering software.
  • Prepare designs using CAD software and support project delivery.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including utilities and government agencies.
  • Respond to civil infrastructure enquiries and correspondence.
  • Assist with grant funding applications and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering.
  • Current Class C Driver Licence.
  • Foundational knowledge of surveying, design, documentation, and project management, particularly for road, traffic, drainage, building, and open space projects of limited scale and complexity.
  • Understanding of preparing construction cost estimates.
  • Basic proficiency in civil engineering and drafting software.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
