Job Overview

This role presents a valuable opportunity for experienced engineers to contribute their expertise in the delivery of civil infrastructure projects. As a project engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the investigation, planning, and execution of maintenance and construction works across a diverse portfolio of assets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of asset condition and performance to identify areas requiring remedial work.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective civil infrastructure maintenance programs.
  • Manage external contractors and suppliers in accordance with contract specifications and industry standards.
  • Provide technical engineering support for project planning, capital works, and emergency response initiatives.
  • Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Evaluate project progress against established parameters of time, budget, and quality.
Requirements
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Possess relevant experience in investigation, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of road, drainage, coastal, and public infrastructure assets.
  • Familiarity with local government regulations and contract management principles.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
