We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop and deliver high-quality training resources that meet the needs of our industry.
The successful candidate will apply industry-leading instructional design and adult learning theories to create engaging and effective learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities- Design and develop timely, cost-effective, and instructionally sound industry programs and learning solutions.
- Design learning activities that enable participants to practice real-life skills and engage learners in meaningful and effective workplace transfer.
- Develop learner guides, assessment booklets, learner workbooks, PowerPoints, session plans, hand-outs, and other documents to reflect the requirements of the units of competency, the training and assessment strategy (TAS), and the VET training package.
- Undertake benchmarking analysis of existing internal and external programs and resources to ensure that program learning design adequately meets the learning needs of a target group and is suitable for the current and future needs of the industry.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
- Preferably, a Diploma or bachelor's degree/post-graduate qualifications in learning and development, instructional design, adult education, or a related discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of the VET training sector, Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (NVR) standards, and Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ability to establish excellent relationships and to work collaboratively with key partners to improve processes.
- Capacity to prioritize multiple, ongoing projects using established project management tools.
