Finance Operations Manager
Job Description:This is an exciting opportunity to lead the financial operations of a dynamic and mission-focused organisation. You will drive operational excellence across reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, while overseeing payroll and financial systems. Key Responsibilities:- Lead financial reporting including profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and reconciliations
- Maintain and optimise finance systems (ERP: MYOB; Payroll: HR3)
- Drive continuous process improvement and transaction efficiency
- Oversee compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations including Goods and Services Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, Pay As You Go, superannuation
- Coordinate the annual audit and statutory accounts preparation
- Lead and support payroll and accounting staff, fostering growth and high performance
- Partner with internal stakeholders across various departments to support their financial literacy and accountability
- CA/CPA qualified with strong technical accounting experience
- Skilled team leader and collaborator
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong understanding of NFP financial compliance
- Highly proficient in Excel and financial systems
- Sounds knowledge of payroll processes
- Analytical, organised, and solutions-focused
