As a Financial Reporting and ESG Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding business decisions and delivering on environmental commitments.
This exciting 14-month parental leave cover contract offers the perfect opportunity to combine financial and sales reporting expertise with a strong passion for ESG and make a lasting impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining key financial and sales reports, including leadership packs, P&L variance reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process by liaising with department leads, uploading and validating data, and checking for accuracy.
- Maintaining data accuracy across financial systems and working closely with internal teams to ensure reliable reporting sources.
- Exploring and implementing new tools & system improvements to increase reporting automation and team efficiency.
- Managing ESG reporting processes, including data collection and certification tracking for Climate Active and B Corp.
Success in this role requires:
- Strong experience in financial reporting, variance analysis, and budget support.
- An interest in ESG and sustainability - familiarity with frameworks like B Corp or Climate Active is a plus, but not essential.
- Thriving on accuracy, attention to detail, and delivering clear, insightful reports that support decision-making.
- Communicating clearly and working cross-functionally with teams across finance, operations, and sales.
- Being comfortable working with multiple systems and tools — advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with Xero, Power BI, and OfficeRnD is a bonus.
- Embracing process improvement, bringing a proactive mindset to making systems and reporting smoother, smarter, and more scalable.
