About This Role

Ambulance Victoria seeks a senior leader to provide strategic direction and support the long-term financial sustainability of AV.

  • Develop strategies to enhance financial performance within AV's strategic framework.
  • Manage capital and operating resources, ensuring financial stability through collaborative business partnerships.
  • Maintain adherence to government, legal, and financial policy requirements.
  • Provide expert counsel to the Executive and Board on financial matters.
  • Lead and contribute to a safe, compliant, and respectful workplace culture.
About You

Suitable for a highly motivated and strategic senior leader, the successful applicant will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification with extensive relevant experience.
  • Current membership of a professional accounting body is desirable.
  • Demonstrated senior experience in financial management and sustainability.
  • Experience providing strategic advice to Executives, Boards, Ministers, and Central Agencies.
  • Driving and implementing strategic cultural, organisational, and transformational change.
  • A coaching, mentoring, leadership approach to motivate teams.
