An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Injury Management Specialist to join our team. As an expert in early intervention and rehabilitation, you will play a key role in shaping our ongoing Early Intervention and workers compensation Strategy.

  • Develop and implement meaningful initiatives that enhance employee engagement and foster a thriving workplace.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers, promoting best practices in injury management and return-to-work support.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, insurers, employees, and managers to develop tailored return-to-work strategies.
  • Streamline processes to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Highlight and report injury trends to the business, providing detailed updates on open claims and strategies.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have proven experience of injury management, workers compensation, and cultural change. You should possess sound knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislation and expertise in developing and executing strategies in Workers' Compensation.

You will also require high level interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation. A proven ability to build effective and professional relationships, negotiate, and influence stakeholders is essential.

Additionally, you should have proven analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key issues, seek multiple perspectives, and recommend innovative solutions.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about and believes in employee wellbeing and safety ambitions. The ideal candidate will be able to manage conflicting priorities, manage expectations, and implement strategy to achieve key outcomes.

A proactive, engaged, collaborative, and professional approach is required, along with constructive team collaboration work skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
