Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join their team. This role combines technical expertise with customer service excellence to ensure optimal performance of water treatment systems across multiple industries.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site assessments, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting for water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage chemical dosing programs and monitor system performance across various sectors including mineral processing, food and beverage, and manufacturing.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of water treatment systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide clients with detailed technical reports and recommendations for system improvements.
  • Develop customised water treatment solutions for RO and membrane filtration systems, optimising performance and reducing costs.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Respond promptly to customer service requests and emergency situations.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all client systems.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or trade background is required. Additionally, experience in water treatment systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization is essential.


The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of chemical dosing programs, reverse osmosis, and Australian water quality standards.


Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude are also necessary. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation are highly valued.


A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are also requirements for this role.
