Senior Solution Architect Opportunity

This is a leadership opportunity to drive innovation and enable system transformation in Victoria's new ticketing system and real-time public transport information.

The Senior Solution Architect will play a critical role in shaping the technical architecture for complex transport and digital projects, collaborating with Principal Architects, project managers, technical teams, and external vendors to address cross-functional dependencies and ensure cohesive delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and delivery of solution architecture for complex transport and digital projects, providing authoritative advice and advocacy on solution design.
  • Drive governance and quality assurance by securing necessary approvals at program, divisional, and departmental levels, influencing decision-making and resolving complex challenges.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Strong understanding of cloud (Azure and/or AWS) implementation and hands-on experience with relevant technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design and delivery with cloud, on-premises, or hybrid implementation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse sets of stakeholders and influence project outcomes.
