Strategic Advisor Role

This senior position enables the Economic Policy, Programs and Services Group to deliver high performance by providing expert strategic advice and exceptional project management.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of government structures, processes, and culture as well as knowledge of policy frameworks and their development within area of expertise or responsibility.

Key responsibilities include developing policies and new program or project initiatives, advising senior stakeholders on policy issues and solutions within a functional area, and guiding others through the strategic planning process.

The ideal candidate will possess skills and experience in:

  • Policy Development: Builds trusting relationships with Senior Leaders to engender support for proposals.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Fosters a culture of collaboration across the organisation; Identifies and overcomes barriers to communication with internal and external stakeholders.
