Job Title: Client Portfolio Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Client Portfolio Manager. This role is responsible for setting up new clients, maintaining existing client relationships, and managing the administration of client portfolios.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of financial planning industry principles and practices. They will be able to implement effective strategies to manage client paperwork, proactively communicate with clients, and support team peers in reviewing work prior to lodgement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of client paperwork for advice strategies and proactive management until completion
- Supporting team peers by reviewing work prior to lodgement to ensure errors are minimised
- Diligent recording of all works in progress and written or verbal correspondence with clients in the Advice CRM System
- Developing a detailed understanding of the client database to provide a highly responsive service to clients
- Managing client service and administrative functions by prioritising daily workload
- Liaising with Risk Advisers, fund managers, brokers, and share registries
- Implementing Adviser directions efficiently and accurately
- Adhering to business workflow protocols
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Take ownership of tasks and follow through to completion
- Demonstrate initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail, with a confident client-friendly attitude
- Be proactive in identifying discrepancies with client data and taking ownership to correct
- Strong written and oral communication skills necessary
- Minimum 2 years' experience supporting financial planners
- Completed or studying Diploma of Financial Services (RG146) highly desirable
- Experience with financial planning software
- Experience with Advice platforms Macquarie/ BT etc
- Strong technical and advice implementation experience
