About Quality Control Roles

Pharmaceutical companies are seeking experienced and passionate quality control analysts to join their teams. The role focuses on delivering high standard QC testing, validation processes on materials and products, and carrying all ranges of QC lab responsibilities on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine analysis including physical tests and chemical tests as per applicable Analytical Test Methods or Pharmacopoeia for raw materials and finished products.
  • Analyse and document QC work using basic instrumentation and advanced software in accordance with SOP, GMP, and GLP. Perform wet chemistry analysis when required.
  • Assist in ensuring the requirements of relevant regulators as applicable.
  • Ensure all analytical works strongly interlink with data integrity.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records for all testing, analytical work, and investigations.
  • Assist in handling Out of Specification results and further investigations.
  • Maintain adequate stocks of standard, chemical, and consumables.
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • General housekeeping and maintaining OH & S.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher in a science field with over 2-3 years' relevant experience.
  • Experienced working in a TGA or NATA licensed laboratory (preferred).
  • Mandarin speaking (preferred).

Additional Skills and Attributes:

  • High level of accuracy, technical capability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time to ensure testing/activities are completed in a timely manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of QC processes, systems, and methodologies.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the organisation.
  • Problem-solving ability and passion for quality outcomes.
  • Ability to multitask and work autonomously as well as in teams.
