Senior Laboratory Manager

This is a highly skilled leadership role that requires a strong background in laboratory management and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of laboratory staff to ensure timely testing and release of raw materials and finished products.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the laboratory team to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Providing support and advice to the site on chemical and microbial test results and their correlation to production operations.
- Investigating and problem-solving quality related issues in a timely manner.
- Supervising laboratory staff, including managing performance and development.
- Communicating test results to internal and external customers in a timely manner.
- Ensuring an efficient and reliable testing service in accordance with approved methods.
- Assisting in implementing corporate laboratory methods, sampling plans, and standardized reporting.
- Reviewing laboratory performance against defined measures, including calibration and testing accuracy, result traceability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
