Job Title: Technical Officer in Microbiology/Immunology

About the Role
  • Reporting to the Team Leader: Diagnostic Laboratory, you will provide technical, operational, and administrative support for laboratory operations.
  • You will guide and advise academic staff, students, and external users to ensure best practices are followed.

Maintaining safe and effective laboratory operations is essential in this role, as well as collaborating with key stakeholders and demonstrating proper equipment use and procedures.

To Be Successful You Will Need
  • Relevant qualification or extensive experience in microbiology labs and PC2 facilities.

  • Proactive, customer-focused, and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Knowledge of WHS legislation, risk assessment, and lab safety procedures.
