Job Summary:

KinCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Professional to join our team in the Penrith area. As a Care Worker Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and beautiful living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers' nutritional needs are met.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with mobility, therapy goals, and medication management.
  • Offer respite and emotional support, providing a listening ear and a helping hand when needed.
  • Transport customers to appointments, ensuring they receive the care and attention they require.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, requiring specialized support and attention.

Requirements:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel to customers' homes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work a variety of shifts and respond to changing customer needs.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to enhance your skills and knowledge in aged care.
