Job Title: Junior Immigration Lawyer
About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our dynamic team as a Junior Immigration Lawyer. Responsibilities- Work closely with senior lawyers to handle challenging and high-value cases.
- Assist with typical transactional cases, including visa applications, appeals, ministerial intervention requests, and other strategic immigration matters.
- Prepare submissions, legal arguments, and supporting documentation for clients.
- Attend hearings, client meetings, and consultations to gain exposure to a wide variety of cases.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on Australian immigration law and policy changes.
- Develop strong client relationships by providing professional and empathetic legal assistance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Candidates who have completed their legal studies and are ready to take on a full-time legal role.
- Candidates with experience in Australian immigration law are preferred.
- Must have full work rights if a temporary visa holder.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple cases simultaneously.
- A passion for immigration law and a genuine commitment to helping clients navigate complex legal processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients from diverse backgrounds.
