Project Manager Implementation Specialist

Are you an experienced project manager seeking a new challenge? We are looking for a highly skilled individual to consult on Vantagepoint implementations for our clients.

This role offers remote work opportunities with the possibility of trips to client sites. You will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end Vantagepoint implementation projects from planning to deployment and stabilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to ensure system configuration aligns with business needs.
  • Oversee data migration, integrations, testing, and user acceptance processes.
  • Coordinate training and change management activities to ensure a smooth transition for end users.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as needed.
  • Ensure implementation meets scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading Deltek Vantagepoint (or similar ERP) implementations.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in ERP/financial systems.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP or equivalent certification).
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with external vendors.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with data migration, integrations, and system testing.
